Text Message (SMS) Terms

Effective October 5, 2026

These terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

Each business publishes its own text message terms

Every business on enpet texts its clients from its own number, which the carriers approve in the business's own name before any text is sent. Once a business has published its own SMS Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, at app.enpet.ai/b/<business>/sms-terms and /b/<business>/privacy, they are linked beside the text-message checkbox on its booking page, its sign-up page and the page its emailed sign-up link opens. Those pages name the business, its texting number and how to reach it, and they are the terms for that business's texts. Until a business has published them, its checkbox links this page and enpet's Privacy Policy.

Pet-care businesses — groomers, daycares, boarding kennels, dog walkers and trainers — use enpet, a service of ENPET LLC, to run their bookings. Each business texts its own clients from its own number through enpet. This page describes how that texting works for every business on enpet.

How you opt in

On a web form. A business's online booking page and its client sign-up page show this checkbox directly under the Mobile phone field. It is unticked until you tick it, and you can book or sign up without it:

By email. A business can send you an email with a link to a page that asks for your mobile number and shows this same checkbox. Texts start only if you enter the number the business has for you and tick the box.

enpet records when and how you agreed — the date and time, the page and the version of the wording you were shown, your IP address and browser — and sends you this confirmation:

“[Business name]: You're signed up for texts about your appointments and account. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

Nobody who has not opted in is texted. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

What you will receive

Texts from the business you opted in with, about your appointments, your pets and your account with that business: appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations and changes; notices that your pet has arrived or is ready for pickup, and updates and photos from the visit; openings on a waitlist you joined; replies from the business's team; and invoice and payment notices. Marketing, promotions and offers are never sent by text. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop, and how to get help

Reply STOP to the business's number at any time — STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work too. You will get one message confirming it and no further texts from that number. Reply START to receive them again. Reply HELP for the business's name and how to reach it; the business's own SMS Terms of Service give its support phone and email. You can also write to admin@enpet.ai.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected for text messaging are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Twilio delivers the texts and receives your number only to do that. Each business's own Privacy Policy, linked beside its checkbox once the business has published it, says what it collects and who receives it; enpet's Privacy Policy explains everything else enpet holds about you and your rights over it.
